Favela Chic

Favela Chic
Favela Chic (18 rue du Faubourg du Temple, Paris) (Metro: République) – as the name implies, this is a Brazilian restaurant with food items expected from there, such as feijoada (black bean stew) to moqueça (another stewy dish) and pão de queijo (cheese bread). Of course, its patrons range from Brazilian expats to locals wanting to immerse themselves in Brazilian music – when Favela becomes a small hangout spot late in the evening (playing Samba, Bossa Nova, funk and Brazilian electropop music).
