La Machine du Moulin Rouge
La Machine du Moulin Rouge (90 Boulevard de Clichy, Paris)(Metro: Blanche, Place de Clichy, and Pigalle) – this club’s main dance floor, La Chaufferie, used to be the famed Moulin Rouge’s boiler room (with the old pipes still in place). Its central area is now a concert hall that showcases new and long-standing dance music, pop and rock acts. That hall, of course, has a sense of history – along with its famed past, rock icons like the Beatles and the Kinks have performed here.
