Le Chateaubriand (129 Avenue Parmentier, Paris) (Metro: Goncourt) – this restaurant, manned by Basque chef Iñaki Aizpitarte, has been getting positive reviews in various circles – from American TV chef Anthony Bourdain to finding itself on San Pellegrino’s 50 Best restaurant list. A recommended dish here is the artichoke-centric Carré d’Agneau, as well as the Veal and Langoustine. However, the chef is constantly reinventing dishes here, so it’s best to walk into this bistro with an open mind, and careful reading of the daily menu.
