Mussubi (89 Rue d’Hauteville, Paris) (Metro: Poissonnière) – this is a take-out Japanese canteen-style eatery, serving food items in bento boxes — its specialty being omusubi (garnished Japanese rice balls) with assorted flavors (seaweed, spinach, corn and peppers, courgettes and miso, etc.). Bento boxes sell for €11.80 (€14.30 with soup, salad or dessert). Early arrivals can take the one or two tables there.
